The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) is planning to be involved in a wide range of activities to support the Committee of Emergency Situation and Civil Defense (CoESCD) under the Government of Tajikistan.

In 2008, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decided to launch a comprehensive police reform for the benefit of the people of Tajikistan.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a Decree on 12 November 2013 on eradication of causes of political and systemic corruption in government bodies. This decree sets as a focus the fight against corruption and eradication of causes of political and systemic corruption in state agencies and state-owned entities.
