    The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) promotes the implementation of OSCE principles and commitments. With special emphasis on the regional context, it assists Tajikistan in tackling problems and threats to security, supports conflict prevention and crisis management measures. As such, it works in areas such as border management, police reform, counter-terrorism and small arms and light weapons stockpiling and storage.

It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities.

Local Intern

Within the framework of the OSCE Internship Programme the OSCE Programme Office in Nursultan is accepting applications for internship for a period of October – December 2019. The intern will support the Office’s activities in Economic-Environmental dimension. The intern will have the opportunity to develop his/her professional skills and gain practical work experience in an international environment.

The internship does not constitute a commitment to future employment with the OSCE. The OSCE is not in a position to provide financial assistance to selected interns.
