Tasks and Responsibilities  

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Section/Deputy Director (CSDS), and technical guidance including task distribution from the Senior Programme Assistant, the incumbent performs the following duties:

National Procurement Officer

    The incumbent is assigned to the Fund Administration Unit of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) and provides comprehensive analyses, research, monitoring and support for procurement activities of the POiB and required activities within the country.

Information Architect

The OSCE has a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects. It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities.

The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (henceforth, “the Office”) continues to be a committed partner to the Kyrgyz Republic in its efforts to develop Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. The Office supported the Entrepreneurship Support Centre (ESC) in Batken, Jalal-Abad, Osh and Karakol by providing consultation services to entrepreneurs and contracting experts in business law and business management.

National Expert in Chemical Safety and Security

Project “Improving Ukraine’s Regulatory System on Chemical Safety and Security”

Brief description:

The consultant will participate in revision of draft law “On chemical safety and security”, including drafting provisions, providing inputs to regulatory analysis and financial calculations, participating in discussions with national authorities and other interested parties.
