Background:
The HCNM is tasked with early warning and early action in relation to tensions involving national minorities in and between participating States that may develop into conflicts. The High Commissioner is assisted in the conflict prevention mandate by political and legal advisers, as well as project officers and assistants.

The position is assigned to the Office of the Head of Mission in the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB). The primary task is to contribute to the unit’s work, which includes effective communication of POiB’s mission and activities, building a positive reputation and strengthening POiB’s organizational image on national and international levels. |
