On January 30, 2020, the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak a “public health emergency of international concern” (PHEIC). Subsequently, on 11 March, WHO declared the outbreak of a “pandemic” and potential threat and risk to public health has been on the high level since then.
