In line with its activities related to e-governance and Trade Facilitation and as a follow-up activity from 2018 and 2019, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) intends to support the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan (MEDT) in improving the Tajikistan’s Trade portal of the Coordination Committee for the Simplification of Trade procedures. |

Background In recent years, the nature and magnitude of disasters have increased drastically, including terrorism attacks, earthquakes, floods and pandemic. The immediate and far reaching impacts of these disasters highlight the need for rapid and effective response and crisis management. Therefore, the role of the institutions dealing with crisis management is paramount in assessing the risks and taking steps to mitigate them, and effectively respond should the crisis situation occur.
Countering serious and organized crime remains a high priority for Albania and OSCE participating States. An important part of the mandate of the OSCE Presence in Albania (hereinafter “the Presence”) is to assist Albanian law enforcement agencies in coordination with other international actors in this field. Throughout 2020, the Presence will continue to provide impartial advice and expertise as well as cross-programmatic assistance to Albanian police agencies and regional interlocutors in the field of serious and organized crime.
