The OSCE has a comprehensive approach to security that encompasses politico-military, economic and environmental, and human aspects. It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, combating human trafficking, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities. |
Background
The post is financed from the Extra Budgetary “Multiplication of Anti-Trafficking National Referral Mechanism” project. The initial contract is until 31 December 2021. The post extension is subject to availability of funds.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the National Project Officer the incumbent will perform the following duties:

To support the inter-agency drug abuse prevention efforts and to raise capacity of the relevant specialists and workers in drug abuse prevention and first medical aid for drug abuse/overdose, one Consultant will be contracted under SSA modality to develop and write a guidebook on drug abuse prevention and first aid. |
