Project Assistant/Translator

Background:

This post is financed from the Extra Budgetary (ExB) “Building Ukraine’s Humanitarian Demining Capacity” project. The initial contract is for 12 months. The post extension is subject to availability of funds.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, Translator/Project Assistant performs the following tasks:

Translation/interpretation assignments

ICT Assistant

The incumbent is the ICT Assistant in the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) who is to provide IT support to the PC users. The incumbent is also to provide full possible support in maintaining communication services and communication infrastructure (including satellite and radio communication). The incumbent shall report to the National ICT Officer (NICTO) and Senior ICT assistant on all ICT related issues.

 

Local Expert for Media Training on Gender Equality

Support to the overall gender mainstreaming process will be enriched by capacity building for the media as an influential means of communicating gender equality values to the broader public. In this regard, the Mission will engage two local experts to conduct a two-day workshop on gender equality for representatives of media, especially for the focal points for gender equality in media.

Local Expert on Gender-Responsive Budgeting

Gender-Responsive Budgeting ensures that gender equality obligations are reflected in the public budgets. The Mission will provide support by engaging two local experts who will conduct gender budgeting analysis of the existing budgets in two selected Montenegrin municipalities. Furthermore, a two-day workshop on gender budgeting will be held in these municipalities as pilot project.

Intern, Political Affairs (international internship)

This call for applications is open for persons with the citizenship of one of the OSCE participating States, excluding the sole citizenship of the Republic of Serbia. Persons who are older than 30 years on the date of the deadline of the vacancy notice or who have already served six months of internship in the OSCE, irrespective of the duty station, are not eligible to apply.

Administrative Judiciary Expert/Trainer (international consultancy)

The OSCE Mission to Serbia is supporting the reform of the administrative judiciary with the aim of strengthening of administrative justice in the Republic of Serbia. The Mission is supporting the Administrative Court of the Republic of Serbia in the exchange of best European practices through supporting the Court’s participation in the work of the Association of European Administrative Judges (AEAJ).
