Background | ||
This vacancy is open for the applicants with the citizenship of an OSCE participating State, excluding the Republic of Serbia. The OSCE Mission to Serbia is looking for an international expert to deliver a training course on project monitoring and evaluation tools and techniques for mission members. The Mission runs and manages a number of Unified Budget (UB) and extra-budgetary (ExB) projects, i.e. projects funded by individual donors. All of these projects are implemented by mission members. As a follow up to an advance project cycle management course delivered earlier this year, the Mission now plans to organize a two-day course specifically dedicated to project monitoring and evaluation. The main objective of the course is to improve understanding and use of monitoring and evaluation concepts, tools and mechanisms among mission members, and to increase understanding of practical approaches to improving the use of monitoring and evaluation data in programmes’ decision-making. |

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the supervision and in consultation with the National Human Resources Officer, the expert will be responsible for:
The training course will be delivered on the Mission’s premises in Belgrade by the end of 2019. The expert will receive brief guidance and the necessary materials from the Mission prior to training.

Remuneration Package | ||
The expert will be employed on a Special Service Agreement covering a total period of 5 days, to include preparation and delivery of training, and will be paid a total amount not exceeding 1,500 EUR, commensurate to individual qualifications and experience. In addition, the OSCE Mission to Serbia will cover travel and accommodation costs associated with this consultancy. |
