This vacancy is open only for persons with the citizenship of or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia.
The OSCE Mission to Serbia’s Administration Unit is looking for a Procurement Assistant to assist in conducting comprehensive market analysis of printing services providers, hotels, restaurants and caterers in Belgrade and Serbia and recommend qualified vendors to be pre-approved for future use by OSCE.

Tasks and Responsibilities |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Under the supervision of the National Material Management Officer, the temporary Procurement Assistant will be responsible for:
- Conducting an assessment of the Mission’s needs in relation to printing services, in co-operation with programmatic departments;
- Conducting online market research of printing agencies, hotels, as well as restaurants and catering companies, including through advertisements, websites, reference lists and similar, and providing reports on the online research;
- Conducting on-site market research of printing agencies, hotels, as well as restaurants and catering companies, by visiting the respective companies, collecting vendor registration data, reference lists, specifications of relevant facilities and taking photos of the facilities, and providing reports on the on-site research;
- Drafting evaluation reports for each vendor with substantial data gathered for future use by the Mission in the approval of contracts with vendors;
- Reviewing, updating and populating the Mission’s Vendor Data Base.
- Performing other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Citizenship of or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia;
- Completed secondary education supplemented by formal studies in administration;
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in procurement or market research;
- Office experience, including record keeping and processing of information;
- Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft packages;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Serbian;
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people from different national and cultural backgrounds, whilst maintaining impartiality and objectivity.

Remuneration Package |

|
The selected candidate will receive a short-term Letter of Appointment which will end on 31 March 2019.
Appointments are made at Step 1 of the applicable salary scale. Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is EUR 1,504.92. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance.
