The vacancy is open only for persons with the citizenship of or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia.
The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis (20 hours a week). S/he will receive a one-year fixed-term Letter of Appointment, which will be subject to satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period, and which will be renewable annually, subject to satisfactory performance and continuing need for the post. The incumbent will work in the Fund Administration Unit.

Tasks and Responsibilities |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Material Management Assistant, the incumbent performs office maintenance tasks for the Mission. Specifically, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for:
- Carrying, moving furniture and equipment in connection with office relocations, maintenance, re-decoration, repair, reconstruction, and storage;
- Inspecting furniture and equipment being stored for repair, and reporting to the supervisor;
- Installing hanging rails, lockers, shelving units, bookshelves and other furniture in offices, conference rooms and other premises, and drilling holes in walls to hang up notice boards, cupboards, pictures, signs, etc.;
- Carrying out maintenance and minor repairs on office furniture and other equipment, such as replacing wheels and bearings, fixing of handles, lubrication and greasing;
- Replacing water bottles in water coolers;
- Making seating arrangements in conference rooms and providing logistical support for events taking place outside the Mission premises (transporting and carrying equipment);
- Driving official vehicles for transport of goods and assets (to/from the Mission’s storage, from the Customs etc.);
- Taking care of the customs procedure;
- Performing other duties as required.

Necessary Qualifications |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Citizenship of or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia;
- Completed secondary education;
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a craft/trade (carpentry, masonry etc.);
- Possession of a valid driving licence;
- Ability to perform minor repairs on furniture and common office equipment;
- Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft packages;
- Basic written and oral communication skills in English and fluency in Serbian;
- Ability and willingness to work with people of different nationalities, cultural and religious backgrounds and diverse political views while maintaining impartiality and objectivity;
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
- Holding a valid driving licence.

Remuneration Package |

The incumbent will work on a part-time basis (20 hours a week).
The incumbent will receive a one-year fixed-term Letter of Appointment, which will be subject to satisfactory completion of a 6-month probationary period, and which will be renewable annually, subject to satisfactory performance and the continuing need for the post.
Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of the applicable salary scales.
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is approx. EUR 500.00. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
