Background | ||
This vacancy is open only for the applicants with the citizenship of or permanent residence in the Republic of Serbia. Introducing new alternative sanctions and measures into the criminal legislation, as well as improving the implementation of the existing ones could bring numerous benefits to the society. After supporting the production of the guidelines for judges and prison officials for drafting the conditional release request, the OSCE Mission to Serbia will continue to support the Department for the Enforcement of criminal sanctions in promoting expansion of such sanctions and measures. The next step in this process would be to collect and analyse the current state of affairs in the field of conditional release requests, as well as to evaluate the impact of the new legislation and the aforementioned guidelines. To this end, the OSCE Mission requires the services of an expert in the field of legal research, who would conduct desk research, and collect, analyse and evaluate the practices in the field of conditional release requests since changes in legislation in 2016. The conducted research would be summarized in a form of a study, with the aim of highlighting the examples of best practices and outlining the current trends in policies and their implementation. |
