Background | ||
This vacancy is open for the applicants with the citizenship of an OSCE participating State, excluding the Republic of Serbia. The Mission will support the Serbian Securities Commission (SEC), an autonomous regulatory body of the Republic of Serbia, in the development of the Policy Paper on regulation of crypto-assets following the consultation process which is previously to be conducted by the SEC in co-operation with the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia. The Mission will support the SEC in the development of the Policy Paper by engaging an international expert who will help the SEC prepare the Policy Paper. The engagement will guide the SEC in its preparation for future regulations on crypto-assets, bearing in mind various standing points on the matter, FATF Recommendations, EU relevant Directives, as well the European Securities and Markets Authority’s Advice on Initial Coin Offerings and Crypto-Assets. Once the Policy Paper has been produced, the expert will assist the SEC in delivering the public presentation of the document, especially in parts that concern the value added by the right regulation and the global trends. |

Remuneration Package | ||
The expert will be employed on a Special Service Agreement covering a total period of 2 months, starting approx. from 1 July 2019, and will be paid a total amount not exceeding 3,000 EUR, commensurate to individual qualifications and experience. In addition, the OSCE Mission to Serbia will cover travel and accommodation costs, if any, associated with this consultancy. |
