Background | ||
The OSCE Mission to Serbia is looking for highly experienced translators who would be placed on the Mission’s consultancy roster and may be hired to translate written documents from Serbian into English and/or from English into Serbian. The documents deal with a variety of topics covered by the Mission’s mandate, such as rule of law, human rights, criminal justice, anti-corruption, judicial and legal services reform, economic crime, police reform, organized crime, human trafficking, community policing, good governance, parliamentary affairs, local self-government, environmental affairs, rights of national minorities, refugees, youth, non-discrimination, media freedom, media literacy, media legislation, digital society, political affairs. The selection will be made on the basis of an online written test in which applicants will be asked to translate two pages of text, one from English into Serbian and one from Serbian into English. |

Remuneration Package | ||
Successful applicants will be placed on the Mission’s consultancy roster and may be hired for specific translation tasks in the period of 2 (two) years upon completion of the selection process, which is the duration of the roster. Remuneration will be in accordance with the Mission’s translation fees valid at the time of the hiring, currently set at 1,400 RSD per translator’s page (1,800 characters with spaces). |
