Under the supervision of the National Programme Officer, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Mission’s Human Rights Project within the designated AOR of his / her field office. This includes assisting in all aspects of project preparation, implementation and follow-up, including organising meetings, training and other activities necessary to achieve the project's objectives.

The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) assists the Kyrgyz Government with the implementation of OSCE commitments and relevant international obligations and standards. The Programme Co-ordinator (PC) in the Office of Head of Mission oversees the development, implementation and evaluation of the POiB’s three thematic programmes and the projects implemented within those programmes.

The results of the survey on citizens’ perception of the mediation, conducted by the Mission in past years, have pointed out the need for intensive promotion of the use of mediation and continuous capacity building of mediators aimed at the protection of citizens and unburdening of courts.
