The Conflict Prevention Centre (CPC) plays a key role in supporting and co-ordinating the OSCE's activities in the field, in providing analysis and policy advice to the Secretary General and the Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) in relation to field-related activities and is the focal point in the Secretariat for co-ordinating and developing the OSCE's role in the politico-military dimension.

| The incumbent will work under the general supervision of the Chief of Fund Administration and direct supervision of the Senior Finance Assistant and in close cooperation with the staff of the Fund Administration Unit (FAU) and the ExB project colleagues. | ||

Under the supervision of the National Environmental Officer (NEO) and General co-ordination of the Programme Manager, the incumbent will perform programme/project related tasks mainly in environmental fields, but occasionally in the economic and regional development fields. |
