With the 2011 Media Strategy having expired in 2016, Serbia entered a new media policy cycle. A more transparent and inclusive process is initiated to create a sound and comprehensive document. The draft of the new Media Strategy (MS) for the period 2018-2023 is expected to be submitted to the Government of the Republic of Serbia by the end of 2018.

OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work through which political decisions are translated into action.

The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) is the principal institution of the OSCE responsible for the human dimension. ODIHR is active throughout the OSCE area in the fields of election observation, democratic development, human rights, tolerance and non-discrimination, and the rule of law.

The post will be the focal point for Human Rights related projects in Human Dimension of the Programme Office in Bishkek. The National Human Rights Officer, under the close supervision of the Head of Human Dimension, provides technical and operational support to programme and project activities related to human rights  in Kyrgyzstan.

The OSCE Mission to Serbia is supporting the reform of the Republic of Serbia’s existing one-tier administrative judiciary into a two-tier system as part of the wider judicial reform process. To that effect, the Mission supports the exchange of best EU practices related to the administrative judiciary.

The Programme Assistant (PA) is directly supervised by the National Customs and Transport Officer and indirectly by the Head of Economic and Environmental Department (EED).
