National Project Officer (Chemical Emergency Response Capacity)

Background:

This post is financed from the Extra Budgetary Project (ExB) “Enhancing Ukraine’s Chemical Emergency Response Capacity”. The initial project duration is until December 2020 with the six months’ probation period.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the National Programme Manager and should perform the following tasks:

Background:

This post is financed from the Extra Budgetary Project “Enhancing State Border Guard Service of Ukraine capabilities in combating illicit trafficking of weapons, ammunition and explosives on and across the state border of Ukraine”. The post duration is until August 2021 with the six months’ probation period.

It therefore addresses a wide range of security-related concerns, including arms control, confidence- and security-building measures, human rights, national minorities, democratization, policing strategies, counter-terrorism and economic and environmental activities.
