Background | ||
In frame of co-operation between the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe and Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Economic Unit has been requested to facilitate to streamline the local legislation regulating the automobile transport and support the country to comply with the requirements of the WTO and its Trade Facilitation agreement. After provision of a foreign expertise on compliance of the Automobile Code which is originally drafted in Russian, and a need for translation into Tajik language has arose. The qualitative and meaningful translation is the requirement of the line ministry and will be putted as basis for implementation of norms and regulations to be served as a legal background thereupon. Assignment beginning and deadlines: The translator is expected to receive material on March 1 2019 and submit the Tajik version of the report to POiD by 31 March 2019. Quality requirements: - Translator must double-check for spelling and stylistic organization of final versions before submitting material to POiD; - Translator is responsible to research and verify unclear names/concepts/terminology both with the focal points from the Ministry of Transport and the OSCE Economic Unit. |

Remuneration Package | ||
The consultant will be remunerated commensurate with consultant’s experience and qualifications in accordance with OSCE established rates. Applicants should indicate whether they wish to be included in the OSCE Roster of Consultants for similar assignments. | ||
