Background | ||
In the framework of the Project “Supporting the Kyrgyz Republic in promoting social, economic and cultural rights” the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek implements activities directed to exercising and protection of rights of girls and women, increasing awareness of population on children and women’s rights, preventing gender-based violence and promoting women’s leadership. Since 2015 the Office has been conducting training courses and other awareness raising initiatives. Over 200 adolescent girls directly and over 1200 adolescent girls indirectly participated in the awareness raising campaigns. Three editions of the magazine “Successful Girl” have been developed and published. With a view to develop creative capacity of adolescent girls including on story-telling and article writing and to provide conditions for self-development, the Office plans to organize a training course on story telling for 30 adolescent girls. In order to achieve this, the Office plans to hire an expert for the development of 2-day training programme on story-telling and article writing, delivery of the training course in Kyrgyz and Russian and mentoring most active adolescent girls in the process of story and article writing. It is expected that adolescent girls, who passed the training, would be able to write articles and stories, which will be published in the magazine “Successful Girl”. Expected period of assignment: 2 months. |

Remuneration Package | ||
Remuneration commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the consultant. The remuneration will be based on the current OSCE consultancy rates. | ||
