Background information:
In 2018, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine (OSCE PCU) implements jointly with the Supreme Court (SC) a Project "Supporting Supreme Court in Judicial Reform Implementation" (the Project), aimed, in general, to enhance inclusiveness and transparency of the judicial reform process and facilitate awareness raising in line with international best practices.
To play the role of main body carrying out responsibility of judicial reform leading institutions, the Supreme Court must have relevant communication capacity. This includes efforts put into development of communications strategy of the Court and its judges-speakers, as well as into development of the communication framework and staff of the Court’s secretariat.
Taking into account the aforesaid, it was decided to develop the concept and the programme of media trainings in the area of public communications and to train the judges and the staff of the SC. Due to this, OSCE PCU finds it reasonable to employ Experts on Strategic Communications, who will be a part of the Group of Strategic Communications Experts to be set up by the OSCE PCU.
Please note that this is a consultancy assignment of approximately 50 working days. The consultant will be required to work from home with the ability to travel if necessary.
