OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work in countries that require assistance and are the agent through which political decisions are translated into action. The OSCE Mission to Skopje is the Organization's longest-serving field mission. Based on the mandated priorities for the Mission, the Mission’s current activities are grouped in four main strategic areas: Inter-ethnic relations, including early warning; Rule of Law, Democratic Governance; and Transnational Threats.

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Head of Mission (DHoM), the incumbent acts as focal point for all matters concerning the DHOM, provides organizational and administrative support, implements instructions by the DHOM and in the absence of the National Executive Officer, by the Head of Mission, and assists the National Executive Officer in all matters related to the coordination, management, advising and running of the Office. Remuneration Package | ||
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is approximately EUR 1,360.00. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions. |
