Education:
Advanced education/certified training course in a relevant field desirable
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of relevant, diversified and progressively responsible professional experience including at least 3 years at the management level relevant to the actual position

Mandatory:

A clear understanding of the political situation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE Centre in Bishkek's role

Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a member of a team, with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity

Ability to operate windows applications including word processing and email
Desirable:

University degree in Law, Management, International Relations, Political Science or Social Sciences

Experience in using ERP systems (Oracle) would be an asset

Tasks and Responsibilities |
Under the supervision of the Head of Centre (HoC) and the Deputy Head of Centre (DHoC), the Senior Executive Officer performs the following duties:

Ensures that the work of the Centre is in accordance with the HoC's policy and guidance and ensures that there is effective coordination between the senior staff of the Centre;

In co-operation with the Programme Co-ordinator and the Senior Political Officer, co-ordinates the input of the Centre¿s departments into HoC's and DHoC's briefing material, including making appropriate recommendations, proposals and analysis;

Oversees the organization of protocol visits/events with senior government officials;
-
Reviews all documents for quality, accuracy and conformity to protocol which are submitted to the HoC and DHoC; drafts reports, speeches or talking points for official visits of the HoC and DHoC, in co-ordination with the Senior Political Officer and the Programme Co-ordinator;

In co-ordination with the HoC and DHoC, manages the Centre's media strategy and oversees the activities of the National Media Officer as well as the National Legal Officer and the National Executive Administrative Officer;
-
Acts as the training focal point for the Centre in Bishkek;
-
Performs other duties as required.
