VNTURG00125    Job Title  SENIOR DRIVER      Organization Name  OSCE Centre in Ashgabat    iRecruitment Notification Text        The OSCE Centre in Ashgabat is looking for a driver.     Background        Under the general supervision of the Chief of Fund Administration, direct supervision of the Head of Centre the incubent is responsible for driving and daily maintenance of the assigned office vehicle and in case of emergency protection to the Head of Centre.      Tasks and Responsibilities        Vehicle related:

• Drives for the Head of Centre and high-level officials/visitors/staff. • Meets official visitors at the airport and facilitates immigration and customs formalities. • Collects and delivers mail or documents when required. • Is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, etc., performs minor repairs and arranges for the other repairs; ensures that the vehicle is kept clean and in perfect working order. • Keeps records of official trips, daily mileage, petrol consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc. • Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident • Minor repairs of office vehicles • Assists in the purchasing of car equipment’s consumables, e.g. oil, fluids, filters and tires. • Ensures that the steps required by the rules and regulations are followed in case of involvement in accident, or in case that the vehicle breaks down. • Participates to the protection and safety of the Head of Mission, keeps abreast of information, which may be useful to judge the security risk to the Head of Centre. • Performs any other duties as assigned.    Necessary Qualifications:      Education: Secondary education or equivalent; Experience: Not endorsed and valid driving license minimum B,E category and minimum of (4) four years of driving experience with established awareness of security issues; Skills in minor vehicle repair; Languages: Good written and oral communication skills in English in addition to local languages; Other: Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds;      Remuneration Package      Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deduction, is EUR 703  (12 times a year). OSCE salaries are exempt from taxation in Turkmenistan. Social benefits will include possibility of participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
