Background    
     
    The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) invites professional photographers to send their applications for inclusion in the POiD Roster of Photographers. The selected candidate will be used to acquire imagery of various programs, events and attractions to support the POiD’s public relations and social media needs.
     
Tasks and Responsibilities    
     
   

The Photographer will be performing the following duties:

  • Providing quality photo services of  POiD’s various programme/project activities in various places;
  • Documenting moments and participants for the project archive, press releases and the web site;
  • Digitally possessed photos from the event provided on the CD/flash drive;
  • Photos should be delivered error-free as high resolution within a specified amount of time.
     
Necessary Qualifications    
     
   
  • Higher education supplemented by specific studies in professional photography;
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in processing high-quality pictures;
  • Knowledge of techniques, principles and equipment of modern photography including still, motion, color, and black and white photography;
  • Knowledge of technical (digital) photo equipment properties and their suitability for generalized and specialized photography;
  • Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religious and cultural background;
  • High degree of attention to details;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Confidence and self-motivation;
  • Time management and organisational skills; team-working skills; creativity.

Remuneration Package    
     
    The consultant will be remunerated commensurate with consultant’s experience and qualifications in accordance with OSCE established rates. Applicants should indicate whether they wish to be included in the OSCE Roster of Consultants for similar assignments.
