Background    
     
    The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe is involved in a wide range of activities, ranging from counter-terrorism and border management projects to supporting cross-border markets and free economic zones, human rights, media development, and legal reform initiatives.
     
Tasks and Responsibilities    
     
   

This is a general support function role supervised by the Senior Executive Officer and if you are selected as the Receptionist, you will perform the following duties:

  • Issue visitor's badges to persons with appointments, calls hosts for escorts, receives VIP guests according to correct procedures;
  • Act as switchboard operator, transfers telephone calls and relays messages to members of staff in a timely manner;
  • Maintain Visitor's Register, knowing all Emergency Contact numbers at all times;
  • Reserve Conference Rooms, assists Mission members with information about local area, provides help to all clients, mission members and visitors;
  • Perform other duties as required.
     
Necessary Qualifications    
     
   
  • Secondary education;
  • Minimum two years experience in an office, preferably in an international environment with knowledge of security rules and regulations;
  • Computer literate with practical experience of Windows and Microsoft applications;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English , Russian and Tajik languages;
  • Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds.

Remuneration Package    
     
    Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is 530.80 EUR. Social benefits will include participation in Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
