This post is temporary as maternity leave replacement. Initial contract duration is until 31 January 2022.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the National Programme Manager the incumbent should carry out the following duties:
Manage projects
Manage UB and ExB (if any) projects in the area of psychological and social reintegration and rehabilitation of conflict-affected population through all steps of the project cycle, in accordance with OSCE performance-based programming and budgeting and project management standards. The cycle consists of
• ldentification of projects
• Development, including preparing project proposals and budgets
• lmplementation, including monitoring
• Evaluation
Supervise and directly conduct activities
• Assist in selection and oversight of consultants, implementing partners and vendors
• Directly manage activities, which can include working groups, seminars, trainings, study tours, publications and others
Establish and maintain good relations with partners
• As coordination is essential to the effectiveness of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine, the Project Officer shall ensure coordination of planning and conduct of projects with key partners inside and outside the OSCE
• The Project Officer is also expected to to assist with fundraising
Perform other duties as assigned
Necessary Qualifications
• University degree in military science, political science, public administration, or social sciences
• Minimum of two years of professional experience
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Demonstrated thematic expertise, in particular in the area of psychological and social reintegration and rehabilitation of conflict-affected population
• Computer literate with practical experience in Microsoft applications
• Professional fluency in English and Ukrainian
Remuneration Package
Monthly remuneration subject to social security deductions is EUR 1786. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
