The State Unitary Enterprise “Tajinvest” has developed an online Business to Business (B2B) Portal for facilitating business in Tajikistan and attracting investments. The main goal of the Portal is to provide guidelines and information about how to conduct business and investments in Tajikistan and to give a platform for interaction of business stakeholders at all levels. In the framework of its Economic Affairs portfolio, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe will be supporting the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) “TajInvset” under the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management to further develop and maintain the Business to Business Portal (B2B). It is vital for the project sustainability to provide up-to-date and comprehensive information about all aspects of business activities in Tajikistan, render assistance to all stakeholders and to find as many as possible subscribers to the portal in a very short period of time. For that purpose, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe is looking a highly qualified expert on development of investment projects and related database for the Business to Business portal. In 2019, the Office supported the “TajInvest” in providing an expertise support in development of the investment project database, who was hired for one month. In order to prepare more comprehensive and updated database on the B2B platform, the expertise support is required to further develop an investment project database, bring them into one format and user-friendly for potential investors.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To contribute to the content development of the B2B portal mainly related to the investment projects component and provide recommendations on improvement of the portal for the better investment attractiveness;
Prepare user-friendly template for investment projects to make it more attractive for potential investors.
EXPECTED OUTPUT AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Creation, development and updating of an investment project database, containing standardized business/investment plans;
Provide recommendations for investment project database to make it user-friendly to attract potential investors.
Tasks and Responsibilities
To create a searchable and attractive project database to support private sector as well as relevant employees of SUE “Tajinvest” in setting up business/investment plans and standardized teasers;
Overview existing project documentations and bring them in one common format and line with internationally recognized standards;
To have an ability to search all relevant sources to collect useful and relevant information related to doing business in Tajikistan, particularly investing in Tajikistan and integrate this information into the portal using one common format;
In coordination with SUE “Tajinvest”, to work on the updating investment project database and to give proper advice for the usage of the portals functions.
Advanced Degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or equivalent;
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in public work for assistance and consulting in the field of entrepreneurship, investment, business or equivalent;
Analytical abilities and the ability to properly use methods for analysis, including empirical analysis and gap analysis;
Having experience in development of business plans;
Understanding and knowledge of business and investment climate in Tajikistan;
Experience of working with the legislative and statistical documents;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tajik and Russian, knowledge of English is an advantage;
Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data;
Demonstrated communication skills and team-work;
Ability to work independently and under time pressure;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
