The State Unitary Enterprise “Tajinvest” has developed an online Business to Business (B2B) Portal for facilitating business in Tajikistan and attracting investments. The main goal of the Portal is to provide guidelines and information about how to conduct business and investments in Tajikistan and to give a platform for interaction of business stakeholders at all levels. In the framework of its Economic Affairs portfolio, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe will be supporting the State Unitary Enterprise (SEU) “TajInvset” under the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management to further develop and maintain the Business to Business Portal (B2B). It is vital for the project sustainability to provide up-to-date and comprehensive information about all aspects of business activities in Tajikistan, render assistance to all stakeholders and to find as many as possible subscribers to the portal in a very short period of time. For that purpose, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe is looking a highly qualified expert for the content development of the Business to Business portal.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
To contribute to develop the B2B portal content in relation to the Business Guide.
Start of assignment: 07.10.2019
End of assignment: 15.12.2019
Tasks and Responsibilities
Be able to identify and search all relevant sources to collect useful information related to doing business in Tajikistan, including investing in Tajikistan;
To prepare information for the portal regular updates in 3 languages, especially information related to business and investment climate, local and international related events, business sector information, etc.
Be familiar and to have the ability to work with business associations, private sector and investors both in Tajikistan and abroad to learn and research issues they face in doing business and to give relevant advice, i.a. be able to use modern marketing instruments to obtain information and be familiar with tools of customer client management;
In coordination with SUE “Tajinvest”, to work with business associations, the private sector and investors on the benefits for joining the portal, and to give proper advice for the usage of the portals functions.
EXPECTED OUTPUT AND PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
The portal shall be starting to be up-to-date in all matters, related to business and investment climate in Tajikistan.
REPORTS AND TIME SCHEDULE:
Expert will submit a final report, comprising of detailing activities undertaken and outlining progress achieved in relation to the objectives of assignment, also stating challenges and constraints.
Advanced Degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or equivalent;
Minimum three years of relevant experience in public work for assistance and consulting in the field of entrepreneurship, investment, business or equivalent;
Analytical abilities and the ability to properly use methods for analysis, including empirical analysis and gap analysis;
Understanding and knowledge of business and investment climate in Tajikistan;
Experience of working with legislative and statistical documents;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tajik and Russian, knowledge of English is an advantage;
Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data;
Demonstrated communication skills and team-work;
Ability to work independently and under time pressure;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
