Background | ||
In line with its activities related to e-governance and Trade Facilitation, the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe (POiD) intends to support the Working Group on improvement of Tajikistan’s Trade Portal of the Coordination Committee on Simplification of Trade Procedures (CCCT) under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan (MEDT) to conduct the Working Group’s meetings and elaboration of the Roadmap on further development of Tajikistan’s Trade Portal. The Tajikistan’s Trade Portal’s was launched in April 2019 and is available for the public. This tool is aimed to facilitate trade and investment operations for foreign and domestic representatives of private sector. The electronic tool allows publishing detailed online information on trade procedures in Tajikistan. Procedures will be described step-by-step and show all relevant contacts, forms, requirements, costs, duration, ways of recourse and legal basis. The activity will be implemented for the period of August-December and includes provision of support to the MEDT by the POiD through hiring one National expert to support the Working Group on organization of meetings and development of the Roadmap for Tajikistan’s Trade Portal. Objective The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe therefore requires the services of the National consultant to support the MEDT’s Working Group on improvement of Tajikistan’s Trade Portal of the Coordination Committee on Simplification of Trade Procedures (CCCT) in organization of meetings and development of the roadmap for Tajikistan’s Trade Portal for the period of August-December 2020. |

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the direct supervision of the POiD Economic Officer and the Head of WTO Affairs Department of MEDT, the National expert will closely work with the Coordination Committee for the Simplification of Trade procedures of the MEDT and other relevant stakeholders and will be responsible for followings:

Remuneration Package | ||
The consultant will be remunerated commensurate with consultant’s experience and qualifications in accordance with OSCE established rates. Applicants should indicate whether they wish to be included in the OSCE Roster of Consultants for similar assignments. | ||
