The Communication and Media Relations Section (COMMS) is part of the Office of the Secretary General, and promotes awareness and understanding of the OSCE’s work among outside audiences by working with the media, by developing an effective communications strategy, using all available tools and innovative new channels to increase visibility and engagement, and get the Organization’s messages across to key stakeholders as well as the general public.

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
The Section is looking for internship candidates with multimedia and online communications skills to work alongside team members to develop multimedia products, including, but not limited to long- and short-form videos, interviews, photos, graphics and infographics, for posting on the OSCE website and social media platforms.
Candidates need to show an understanding of multimedia production and creation, online communication and demonstrate enthusiasm and initiative in its use.

Remuneration Package | ||
Please note that the OSCE is not in a position to pay any remuneration nor reimburse travel expenses. However, selected interns who are non-residents of Vienna may be eligible for some compensation towards their living costs in Vienna.
The internship lasts three (3) to six (6) months and does not constitute a commitment to future employment with the OSCE.
The selected intern will participate in the group health insurance scheme at his/her own expense but the OSCE will cover life and disability insurance. |
