Background | ||
The monitors of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM), in particular in the Eastern Ukraine are exposed to critical incidents: life threats, health and well-being. Especially when working in a hazardous environment, teams need to have proper medical coverage in order to facilitate a timely, effective, efficient and coordinated response to any serious medical incidents which involves mission members. The provision of medical support services shall be specifically developed to address the needs and unique complexities of the entire SMM operating environment in the Eastern Ukraine, where security situation remains volatile, challenging and highly tense. Still the same principles and procedures can be applied to the teams deployed in the rest of Ukraine. The OSCE seeks qualified expert to fulfil the tasks indicated below.
