Background

Within the framework of the OSCE Internship Programme the OSCE Programme Office in Astana is accepting applications for internship for a period of 1 May – 31 October 2018. The intern will support the Office’s activities in one of its three programmatic dimensions: the politico-military, economic-environmental, or human rights. The intern will have the opportunity to develop his/her professional skills and gain practical work experience in an international environment.

Necessary Qualifications

 

 

  • Students in the final year of higher education (university or other accredited institution) at the graduate or postgraduate level; or recent graduates or postgraduates, i.e. within one year of graduation;
  • The upper age limit for applicants is 30 years;
  • Applicants should have professional fluency in Russian, a working knowledge of English, both oral and written and computer literacy, knowledge of Kazakh is preferable;
  • They should be able to adapt to an international, multicultural working environment.

  • The degree/discipline you are currently pursuing or have earned;
  • Graduation date;
  • List the computer programmes in which you have proficiency;
  • List your preferred dimension (political-military, economic-environmental, human rights);
  • Explain why you are the best candidate for the internship.
