Background:
Under the OSCE Presence in Albania (hereinafter the Presence) Extra-budgetary Project “Action Against Human Trafficking in Albania”, part of the program “Transforming the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania” led by UNICEF Albania and supported by the United Kingdom, the Presence conducts capacity development activities for the Albanian law-enforcement and judiciary institutions to fight trafficking in human beings in Albania. The project foresees the development of e-learning modules for the Magistrates School and Security Academy and the organisation of the first Albanian anti-trafficking simulation-based training exercise. This training promotes an innovative approach to capacity building, whereby anti-trafficking practitioners engage in real-time simulated scenarios to identify and investigate human trafficking. In this context, the project plans to increase the public outreach of the project, through the means of infographics, lay-out materials and the power of statistics to highlight the Presence’ work to the external and larger audiences. The Presence plans to hire the services of one graphic designer to advice, design and create visibility tools on the work of the project and the Anti-trafficking of Human Beings portfolio.
Tasks and responsibilities: The graphic designer expert will: i. Analyze the given information of the Presence’s work and delivered visibility products carried out in the area of anti-trafficking in human beings ii. Conceptualize, design and layout for web, online media, printing and electronic distribution; iii. Design, illustrate and lay out materials for print and/or web (English, and Albanian). In particular, this will include designing illustration, developing, infographics and selecting photos as needed, incorporating all recommended changes and corrections; iv. Design and lay-out of public information materials such as: Visibility materials (leaflets, posters, banners, infographics, newsletters); v. Design online communication products (social media banners, photo messages).
Note: All deliverables shall be in the Albanian and English languages.
Expected Outputs/Deliverables:

The preparation of all deliverables should be in Albanian and English language.
Necessary Qualifications:
• University degree in graphic arts or a related field; • A minimum of four years of professional experience in graphic design, including experience in designing publications for print, web and tablet formats would be desirable; • Demonstrated creative talent and a passion for design and visualizing written messages; • Flexibility and an ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines; • Professional fluency in English and Albanian; • Strong ability to carry out work independently.
Remuneration
The payment for this consultancy will be in line with OSCE applicable rates.
