Vacancy
Background:
In line with the Kosovo Strategy and Action Plan against Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) 2015-2019, during May 2019, the Mission will organize a two-days Inter-institutional training on the practical application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for trafficked persons, in Prishtinë/Priština.
The latest version of the SOPs for trafficked persons (2012) is a result of the Inter-Ministerial Working Group for trafficked persons (IMWG) through assessment which was carried out based on the analysis of the 2008 SOPs and discussions with anti-trafficking key stakeholders and professionals involved in the implementation of SOPs.
These new SOPs for trafficked persons filled the gaps between theory and practice by providing consistent and detailed procedures – based on the principle of case management and multi-agency approach – to ensure protection and empowerment of local and foreign trafficked persons, both children and adults, in Kosovo. As a result of regional co-operation, during 2017-2018 unified regional SOPs for trafficked persons have been drafted and adopted.
Objective:
The aim of the joint training is to increase the mutual co-operation among the different institutions involved in tackling of THB in application of SOPs for trafficked persons, also to improve the knowledge and skills for effective application of SOPs for trafficked persons.
