Background | ||
The OSCE Mission in Kosovo regularly produces Thematic Reports and thus, is heavily engaged in data collection and interpreting of data collected. Based on the results of specific training needs assessment conducted by Training Section, there is a need for a specific training on Writing Thematic Reports, with special emphasis on research methodologies. For this purpose, the Mission is looking to hire a local consultant, who could train OMiK staff on research methodologies including both, qualitative and quantitative methods. The training should include topics such as: identification of research problem; specifying the purpose of research; determining specific research questions; specification of a conceptual framework, i.e research hypotheses; choice of a methodology for data collection, i.e. Qualitative and Quantitative; data collection and verifying data. The training should be of an interactive nature including discussion and written exercises with feedback. |
