Vacancy
Background | ||
In 2017, within the project “Assisting national and regional authorities in fostering small-medium enterprises growth and international trade”, the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) plans to support the opening of an “Entrepreneurship Support Centre” in Osh. Over the past few years, Kyrgyzstan’s government repeatedly stressed the important role Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) can play to achieve sustainable and inclusive development and address poverty. The creation of “Entrepreneurship Support Centres” (ESCs) in twenty “growth-hotspot cities” is one of the objectives outlined in the Regional Development Strategy, adopted by the Government in March 2017. The creation of information and consultative centres for entrepreneurs comes as a response to the lack of such services in the regions. It is expected to help SMEs be ready to compete on foreign markets and attract private investments, with the ultimate goal of favouring the creation of jobs. In this regard, The POiB in cooperation with UNDP and GIZ will contribute to the opening of an ESC to assist SMEs to develop their business and increase youth and women participation in the economy. It is expected to improve trust between the business community, civil society at large and the local administration. To this end, the POiB will support the ESC by recruiting a local business lawyer for the period of 4 months starting from August 2017, who will provide legal business consultations. Local Business Lawyer executive his/her tasks in "Entrepreneurship Support Centres" in Osh city. |
