Background:
Duration of the Internship with the Democratization Department is 6 months.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Chief of Analysis and Reporting Cell (ARC), Office of the Director, Democratization Department, the intern will support the office in ensuring quality control of departmental publications, and of regular reporting on the Democratization programme’s projects and activities. The incumbent will work closely with other members of the Office, to ensure co-ordination of information with the Mission’s field presence, as well as the Department’s sections on programmatic and project activities. The intern will, after consultation with his/her direct supervisor, co-operate with other sections of the Department such as Governance Section, Media Section, and Public Participation Section.

Necessary Qualifications:
Be not older than 30 years on the date of the deadline of the vacancy notice, advanced degree in a field relevant to the OSCE’s mandate no longer than two years before the date of the deadline of the vacancy notice
Remuneration Package:
The OSCE is not in a position to pay any remuneration or cover any expenses incurred by the intern during his/her stay nor reimburse travel expenses. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme. The internship does not constitute a commitment to future employment with the OSCE.
