The Department of Human Resources (DHR) ensures that the OSCE has the human resources capacity necessary to successfully implement its mandates. DHR sets the policies and provides services in the areas of recruitment, administration of benefits and entitlements, payroll, performance management and training across the Organization. The DHR comprises Executive Management, Talent Management and HR Services.
The HR Services Section (HRS), as part of Department of Human Resources, is responsible for the development and implementation of HR management policies of the Organization, optimal utilization of human resources and evolution of Staff Regulations, Rules and Instructions. This includes the administration of the OSCE payroll and of the conditions of service for all categories of staff/mission members as well as management of the HR ERP system. HR Services also serves as the office of the OSCE Ethics Co-ordinator and focuses on continued implementation of the OSCE Ethical Framework.
The HR Services Section is looking for two interns to assist with its activities for 3-6 months to start as soon as possible. A competitive selection process will be carried out and successful candidates will be offered an internship in accordance with their availability and the needs of the Section. |

The intern will work under the supervision of the HR Officer and will be tasked to provide assistance with revision and compilation of HR standard operating procedures, as well as migration to a new filing structure of the Unit. The specific tasks will include, but not limited to:

Remuneration Package | ||
Please note that the OSCE is not in a position to pay any remuneration nor reimburse travel expenses. However, selected interns who are non-residents of Vienna may be eligible for some compensation towards their living costs in Vienna. The internship lasts three (3) six (6) months and does not constitute a commitment to future employment with the OSCE. The selected intern will participate in the group health insurance scheme at his/her own expense but the OSCE will cover life and disability insurance. |
