Background    
     
    The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe is involved in a wide range of activities, ranging from counter-terrorism and border management projects to supporting cross-border markets and free economic zones, human rights, media development, and legal reform initiatives.
     
Tasks and Responsibilities    
     
   

Under the supervision of the National Human Resources Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assisting at setting up the recruitment procedure, distributes and advertising vacancy notices;
  • Setting up the interview schedule, contacting and informing short-listed candidates on the interview time;
  • Assisting in the preparations of the interview questionnaires for the interview panel;
  • Timely producing the high quality of interview reports, etc.; • Assisting in the administration of Special Service Agreements;
  • Preparing tables by organizing data by constructing graphs, histograms by displaying statistical information and making analysis of the information;
  • Maintaining all personnel related documentation in a proper filing system;
  • Other duties as required.
     
Necessary Qualifications    
     
   
  • Minimum two years of relevant working experience in Human Resources Management, administration and/or secretarial support, part of which should preferably have been in an international environment;
  • Secondary education supplemented by formal training in Administration;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Computer literate with practical experience of Windows, Excel and Microsoft applications with focus on knowledge of graphical applications;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Russian and Tajik languages;
  • Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religion and cultural backgrounds;
  • Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities.

Remuneration Package    
     
    Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is 631.66 EUR. Social benefits will include participation in the medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
