OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work in countries that require assistance and are the agent through which political decisions are translated into action. The OSCE Mission to Skopje is the Organization's longest-serving field mission. Based on the mandated priorities for the Mission, the Mission’s current activities are grouped in four main strategic areas: Inter-ethnic relations, including early warning; Rule of Law, Democratic Governance; and Transnational Threats. The Finance Division, which is a part of the Fund Administration Unit, covers the Mission’s Accounting, Treasury and Cash, Travel, Project Administration, Implementing Partners and Budget operations. Following the COVID-19 outbreak, the Mission issued an exceptional Call for Proposal (CfP) COVID-19 Response Fund, to finance civil society groups, associations, and charities and assist to cope with security challenges in the country by addressing the needs of particularly vulnerable and underserved communities in the face of the COVID-19 emergency. With the aim to strengthen the Finance Division’s capacity to efficiently respond to the needs of the COVID-19 Response Fund, the Mission is looking to engage a Finance Assistant under a short-term appointment (STA). |

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the direct supervision of the National Finance Officer, the short-term Finance Assistant (G4) will support the Finance Division in conducting their day-to-day activities, particularly in relation to the COVID-19 Response fund. More specifically:

Remuneration Package | ||
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is approximately EUR 1,183.00. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance. The engagement will be on temporary basis for a period of approximately 4 months. |
