Background:
Within the project «Advancing legal and human rights education», implemented by OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine (PCU) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (MoE), the PCU plans to equip the MoE and law schools with the up-to-date policy guidance, tools and knowledge base to further improve legal education quality. An important component of the project is delivering methodological trainings, preparing teaching materials and recommendations, creating online courses, and other activities to strengthen the capacity of law schools to teach law in accordance with international best practices.
With this regard, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine is looking for experienced national experts with theoretical and practical expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• online lecture process;
• preparation and carrying out of practical classes;
• organization and methodological support of students' extracurricular activities;
• test method of students' control and students’ preparation for the Unified State Qualification Exam for Master of Law programmes;
• homework: review, mistake analysis, and methods of final control (exams and tests);
• legal writing skills.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• To participate in the development and conducting an online training course on modern private law teaching methodology.
Please note that this is a short-term consultancy assignment.
Necessary Qualifications and Requirements:
• university degree in Law;
• at least five years experience of teaching Private Law;
• experience in developing teaching materials on Private Law for students and law professors;
• experience in developing and delivering interactive trainings;
• excellent knowledge of Ukrainian;
• computer literacy and teaching experience through online platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Skype).
Remuneration Package:
According to the PCU consultancy fees guidelines.
