Seconded staff members in the OSCE Secretariat and Institutions are not entitled to a Board and Lodging Allowance payable by the Organization. The Office of Internal Oversight (OIO) is responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out audits, evaluations and management reviews of the Organization's activities including field operations in order to determine the adequacy of risk management, governance and internal control, to ensure compliance with the regulatory framework, and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. |
Tasks and Responsibilities |
The Evaluation Officer will provide technical and research support for evaluations, including analysing financial and narrative information, identifying relevant information for evaluations, overseeing and supervising the activities of consultants, keeping track of and bringing knowledge of latest developments in evaluation methodology and practices, providing expert support to working and reference groups in specific evaluations, and helping to drive knowledge generation within the Office of Internal Oversight (OIO).
