The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine is looking for highly qualified, motivated and experienced Ukrainian professionals for the position of Driver in Luhansk Monitoring Team (in its field offices in Luhansk and Sieverodonetsk). The OSCE is committed to achieving a better balance of women and men within the Organization.
Initial duration of appointment is for 12 months, subject to a subsequent OSCE Permanent Council Decision to extend the mandate of the Mission.
NOTE: Kindly note that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine is looking for additional Drivers to establish a roster of Drivers willing to serve in Luhansk Monitoring Team in future.
The selected candidates who will not be deployed immediately will be on a roster and might be deployed within 12 months as per operational need.

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer and overall guidance of the Director of Administration and Finance, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
- Performs driving and transportation services (passengers, documents and cargo) in support of the SMM Mission, using soft skin and (civilian) armoured vehicles; - Conducts regular vehicle checks and performs minor vehicle maintenance/repairs; - Informs the Administrative Officer and/or Transport Assistant of any needed vehicle repair and maintenance; - Maintains day to day cleanliness and good working condition (fuel/refuelling, car fluids, oil, tires, springs) of vehicles; - Maintains log of vehicle usage and ensures that the steps required by the rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in an accident; - Performs other duties as required. |

Necessary Qualifications | ||
- Ukrainian citizenship or holding permanent resident status in Ukraine;; - Completed Secondary education; - Minimum of 2 years of driving experience; - Valid driving license B,C1 categories; - Desirable driving license C, C1E categories; - Skills in minor vehicle repair; - Established awareness of security issues; - Working knowledge of English, both oral and written; - Professional fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages, both oral and written; - Demonstrated ability and willingness to work as a member of a team, with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, different gender, and diverse political views, while maintaining impartiality and objectivity; - Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity, as well as the ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities; - Cultural sensitivity and judgment. |

Remuneration Package | ||
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 626.50 Euro/month. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. | ||
