Tasks and Responsibilities |
Under the direction of the Head of Good Governance Department and the guidance of the Senior Good Governance Officer, and in accordance with the mandate of the Mission, the Democratization/Elections Officer: 1.Assists in the development of the Mission's democratization/election strategy; 2.Follows and reports on the reforms in the field of democratization and elections; 3.Designs and oversees the implementation of the projects in the field of democratization and elections; 4.Liaises with relevant domestic stakeholders in the field of democratisation and elections; 5.Liaises and co-ordinates activities with international partner organizations operating in the host country and national development agencies; 6.Supervises two staff membersin the Democratization/Election Unit; 7.Performs other duties as assigned.
