Background | ||
The OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) is seeking experienced local consultants (practitioners) in the area of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), familiar with the specific topics related to the implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution (UNSCR 1540) with a focus on export control and national implementation measures. With the assistance of the OSCE, the Kyrgyz Republic has developed and implemented two voluntary National Action Plans (NAPs) on the implementation of UNSCR 1540: from 2013 to 2017 and from 2017 to 2019. In 2021, the POiB is planning to continue its assistance to the Kyrgyz Republic in further implementation of national measures under UNSCR 1540 by assisting the relevant state authorities in elaborating the third NAP for a new term. Objective: Provide assistance in the development of the NAP on the implementation of UNSCR 1540 for a new term and assistance in development and promotion of legal documents related to UNSCR 1540 implementation in the Kyrgyz Republic. |

Remuneration will depend on the selected consultant’s qualifications and experience and be in accordance with OSCE established rates. | ||
