OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work through which political decisions are translated into action.
According to its mandate, the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek (POiB) develops, implements and reports on programmatic activities in all three dimensions of the OSCE previously agreed upon in the framework of a consultative mechanism between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE PoiB
The Fund Administration Unit in the POiB is currently composed of thirty-three team members.

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the overall supervision of the Head of the Programme Office, the incumbent, as Chief, Fund Administration Unit (CFA) for the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and delivery of a diverse range of administrative and financial support services required by the mission to fulfil its mandate. He/she co-ordinates the work of the Unit and co-operates effectively with all programme and project managers in the POiB, paying close attention to the delivery and integrity of project management. The total budget approved for the Office in 2018 is EUR 6,797,400 and the number of staff is 120.
In accordance with the respective OSCE rules and regulations and in co-operation with the Department of Management and Finance and the Department of Human Resources at the OSCE Secretariat, the selected candidate will provide advice to the Head and/or Deputy Head of the Programme Office and programme managers on administrative policies, the management of financial, human, and material resources and on budgetary consequences of programme initiatives, approving and ensuring that all administrative actions are implemented in accordance with the Common Regulatory Management System (CRMS) and within budget allotments and available resources.

Remuneration Package | ||
Monthly remuneration subject to social security deductions is about US$ 4,929 to which Board and Lodging Allowance (currently EUR 120 per day subject to change without prior notice) is added. Social benefits will include possibility of participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund.
Appointments are made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. |
