OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work in countries that require assistance and are the agent through which political decisions are translated into action. The OSCE Mission to Skopje is the Organization's longest-serving field mission. The Mission’s current activities focus on police development, strengthening of domestic government institutions, strengthening the rule of law and media development and further implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
The Mission requires temporary assistance in the post of Bus Driver on occasional and ad-hoc basis, to cover for peak periods and replacement of regular staff, with the need for deployment as early as operational needs require. Interested candidates are invited to apply to be included in the Temporary Assistance Roster.

| Tasks and Responsibilities |

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Transport Assistant, the incumbent will be engaged on temporary basis to perform the following tasks:
- Drives all OSCE vehicles as assigned with seating capacities up to fifty passengers; Takes responsibility of the safety and security of passengers; delivers and collects mail, documents and other items; meets official personnel at airport and transports non-OSCE Mission members after completing the General Release from Liability Form;
- Is responsible for the maintenance of the assigned vehicles, checks oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres etc., performs minor repairs and ensures that Mission vehicles are kept clean;
- Logs official trips, daily km reading, gas consumption, oil changes, greasing, etc., completes the Daily Trip Ticket by entering all required data such as driver’s name, destination, daily km, highway tolls, fuel consumption, service, repair or maintenance costs;
- Ensures that the steps required by rules and regulations are followed in case of accident, or in case that the vehicle breaks down;
- Performs other duties as assigned.

| Necessary Qualifications |

The candidates should have the following minimum qualifications:
- Citizenship of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
- Secondary education or equivalent
- A valid driving license minimum D category without endorsements
- Minimum of four years of driving experience with established awareness of security issues and ability to make decisions on safety issues and skills in minor vehicle repair
- A valid electronic tachograph card
- Good written and oral communication skills in English in addition to the local language(s)
- Ability to work with people of different nationalities, ethnicities, religions and cultural backgrounds
- Demonstrated gender awareness and sensitivity

| Remuneration Package |

Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is approximately EUR 1,019.83.
Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance. |
