The Department of Human Resources (DHR) ensures that the OSCE has the human resources capacity necessary to successfully implement its mandates. DHR sets the policies and provides services in the areas of recruitment, administration of benefits and entitlements, payroll, performance management and learning and development across the Organization. The Talent Management Section, one of two sections in DHR, comprises units dealing with Job Design and Classification, Recruitment and Learning and Development. The different units of the section work together to attract, manage develop and retain the highest quality staff throughout the OSCE. The Recruitment Unit, as part of the Talent Management Section of the Department of Human Resources, comprises ten staff members and ensures a process of open fair, transparent and timely recruitment and selection of international and locally-recruited contracted Secretariat staff, international contracted mission members, seconded staff and mission members, as well as temporary staff, consultants and junior-level professionals. |

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under direct supervision of the Recruitment Officer and overall guidance of the Chief, Recruitment, the Associate Recruitment Officer ensures effective delivery of a transparent competitive selection and recruitment process, and consistency with overall OSCE Human Resources policies.
