OSCE Missions and Field Activities are the front line of OSCE work in countries that require assistance and are the agent through which political decisions are translated into action. The OSCE Mission to Skopje is the Organization's longest-serving field mission. Based on the mandated priorities for the Mission, the Mission’s current activities are grouped in four main strategic areas: Inter-ethnic relations, including early warning; Rule of Law, Democratic Governance; and Transnational Threats. | ||
Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the direct supervision of the National Executive Officer, the incumbent provides translation/interpretation services from local languages into English and vice-versa, as well as administrative and other services as requested by the Office of the Head of Mission, Heads of Departments and Chiefs of Units in the Mission. Remuneration Package | ||
* Please note that the post title and grade is subject to approval of the OSCE Unified Budget for 2019. Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions, is approximately EUR 1,360.41. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. At the discretion of the appointing authority a higher step may be approved up to a maximum of step 3 subject to specific conditions. |
